Obituary

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto they own understanding, in all they ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path.”  – Proverbs 3:5-6

Today we are honoring and celebrating the life of a phenomenal woman, Lillian Goffe was born in Tattumville, Savannah, Georgia, to Seventh-day Adventist parents Lillian and Solomon on April 7, 1941.

Lillian Margaret Davis (named after her mother) was a friendly, intelligent, and caring child. She was the younger sister to Solomon D. Davis Jr., affectionately known as “Titer” (due to a twist on the word sister) and “Poopsie”. Lillian looked out for her older brother and did her best to keep those she loved on the straight and narrow.

As a young woman, she attended A.E. Beach H.S. because her father saw her potential to shine and sent Lillian up north to New York for a better opportunity to become a nurse. There, she continued to excel with academic excellence.

While pursuing her degree as a Registered Nurse (R.N) in nursing school, she received many accolades for outstanding service to others at work and church while attending City Tabernacle SDA church.
